grazie for the fav on my inquisitor costume !
it's great inspiration on my won Sis o battle one :)
What style/era of Boltpistol are you planning on doing? I am not sure if you read but I am making a Boltpistol to supplement the Sisters of Battle costume I am constructing as well as a Chainsword and am quite happy to share the design/plans with you for it should you wish. I am making everything from household recyclable material so that anyone can utilize my patterns to make their own.
really?! super neato! I'd love to see what you've done. So far I've got the proper corset and cloth parts to the costume and are in the midst of fabricating the shoulders. Any help would be wonderful as I'm still shooting for getting this done my San Diego Comic-con in a week!
I can send you the templates for the shoulders. I just finished building the main structure to them recently and I am waiting on photo editing from my wife to post the results thus far... IN A WEEK!... YIPES! I wish you luck and hope you have a good supply of coffee since with only a week to prepare the cosume I am working on for Games Day Toronto I met with EPIC failure even staying up almost around the clock JUST working on the Bolter and Backpack alone and neither are finished yet. I will have the costume done in time for next years Games Day Toronto (and possible one in the US) but I would never have had time to sew anything in addition to what I did prepare let alone finish the armour and all. I will forward what I have as soon as I can though.
I would so love a template to work off of. Man, if I hadn't seen your work I don't know what I'd do. It's going to be a bit insane. At least the sewing should be pretty basic and easy. It's the construction of everything else that I'm a bit freaked out about.

I so look forward to seeing your finished costume!

If you can and want to send the templates, I'd be eternally grateful. a note in my inbox here or at yahoo would be lovely. deathlikescats@yahoo to be precise.
I would be happy to do so. I have to redraw the patterns with the adjustments to the dimensions. I will say this much about it though, it is really user friendly. You will need some various diameters of cardboard tubes. I would suggest hitting the local GW or mall for some of the larger ones. You will need an 8cm (3"), 3cm (1 1/4") and 2.5cm (1") tubes. The smaller ones I obtained from rolls of tin foil, plastic wrap and wax paper and the larger one was from a packaging tube from Games Workshop that held the large posters that we used to hang in store. I am sure that there are stores that receive such packaging tubes that would be willing to part with them for free. Other than that you need a couple of large sheets of corrugated cardboard (approximately 90cm x 120cm or 3' x 4';). I have to get paper to draw out the patterns again and then scan the whole thing in pieces to make a set of documents that can be taped together to form the pattern but I can do it. I am not sure I can make your deadline with it though. The shoulder pads I can help with though almost immediately. I will just need to scan in the pattern and you can adjust the percentage up for your height. I had to reduce my measurements for my wife who is petite in the extreme to about 77% of the original design so if you are average or better height you can likely adjust the pattern up by about 20% to make it proportioned better. I am guessing your email is .com as you are in the US?
great corset work there :) had to fav ^_^
Aw, thanks! I try. :3
